  • Just stopping by to say hallo. As a South African, living on the other side of the snowy Alps, I enjoyed your pictures of plants ever so familiar to me, especially the Aambei bos :-) Being a curious person definately makes life more interesting – - I never believed in the saying “Curiosity killed the cat!” LOL!

  • Great post! I’ll subscribe right now wth my feedreader software!

Tenacious indeed, what really intrigued me about those pics is whether the grass is growing inside the log itself or if a deeper stem has pushed its way through the rotting parts. Im going for the first option. Seems more feasible (spelling?).
Keep this up dale, I want curiousnicity!!

Hi there Dale, what wonderful tenacity these plants display. I think human nature is much the same. Hence the expression “‘n boer maak ‘n plan”. Lovely photographs too. Thank you for making me see the beauty inside you, and your determaination to be different, not for difference sake!! Also the determination and tenacity you are showing in your life.

  • It’s a pleasure! and thanks to you to, ma!

  • my God, i thought you were going to chip in with some decisive insght at the end there, not leave it with ‘we leave it to you to decide’.

  • I just StumbledUpon this. Not bad. I’ll give it a thumbs up.
